They were taken over by Citroen in 1968.  The company has been owned by Fiat since 1993. In 1999, Ferrari took full control of Maserati, but Maserati split off in 2005 and merged with Alfa Romeo under Fiat.

Lamborghini is an Italian luxury sports car company founded in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini.
The Lamborghini company went bankrupt in 1978 and Chrysler took over in 1987. Chrysler then sold Lamborghini to a Malaysian company in 1994, who then sold the company to Audi on July 27, 1997.
